Mama Elephant: So Much Thanks

Hello crafty friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend. My shift at work doesn’t start until noon so I thought I pop in to share a card with you. I made this card for my sister. My sister threw me a party for my big birthday celebration over the weekend. It was so sweet of her. Of course, my husband was on it too, but the majority of the work was done by her. All of the images and sentiments on this card are from Mama Elephant Charmed Stamp set. I used PPP Stitched Border 3 Dies to create the pretty border and used a VersaFine Embossing Marker to draw the stripes. The stripes are heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I had so much fun coloring and making this card for my sister. I'm sure she'll love it because she is really into owls just like me. And before I sign off for the day, I want to thank you all for the birthday wishes in my previous post. You are all so sweet! ♥ I did have a wonderful 30th birthday celebration. It was a blast! :) Until next time, wishing you all a fabulous day!

Mini Notecards + Giveaway

Hello bloggy friends!

I know it’s been awhile since I last blogged. I have been busy with work, preparing for the new challenge and crafting. Once the Design Team Call closes, I plan to share more of the cards I made in the last couple of weeks.

Yesterday I shared these mini 3x4 cards over on my Instagram. I seem to never have a notecard on hand when I am in need of one. So, I decided to make a whole bunch of small notecards just for that purpose. I have this 12x12 envelopes patterned paper in my paper stash for the LONGEST time and FINALLY use it! Yay! One less paper! :) The spark of inspiration behind these piles of cards was this card made by Mayline. I love the gold word die-cut and the hand drawn envelopes. So cute!

For my notecards, I used Mama Elephant Fair Feathers stamp set to create the ink splatters and heat embossed the sentiments in gold and black. The envelopes were all fussy cut and layered. Then I clipped some mini clothespins from SpiegelMom Scraps Etsy Shop to the mini envelopes and finished the cards by popping them up with foam dimensional adhesives. I think it took me a little over 2 hours to make all 30 of them. I really love how they turned out! Petite and cute! :) What do you think?

So, today is my big BIRTHDAY! I turned the big 3-0! I still feel like I’m 20 though. :) I am celebrating today by giving away some stamps! YES!!! The Mama Elephant “Charmed” and “Three Amigos” stamp sets are from me and the “Potted Pretties” and “Playful Pups” stamp sets are from my AWESOME crafty friends. The giveaway also includes the stamp sets coordinating dies too! And the fun doesn’t end there! My crafty friends also gave me the same sets as above to do a giveaway for my Instagram followers!
